The Pedestrian Bridge.

For Allissa's birthday we went downtown for the evening and ate supper and walked around. And at the end we walked on the pedestrian bridge. It's been my first time.

I debated about putting this up so then people would see where I lived, but you don't know which state I live in! Iowa or Nebraska? ;)

I didn't really feel any different-being at two states at one time.
Really pretty! The down side, was all the bugs swarming around you!

We haven't had these for a really long time so I requested them!

Tennis!

For Allissa's birthday on the 25th, she wanted to play some tennis in the morning!

I played for 5 minutes until I decided to go back to photographing it. I couldn't hit the ball once!

To the Birthday Girl!

Happy 20th Birthday to my sister! Yesterday we celebrated with tennis, swimming, presents, walking downtown, eating, and spending time together at home!

You are now out of your teen years, Allissa, into the mature adult-hood! I cannot wait to see what God has in store for the next years! I'm glad we're so close! I love you!

A redecorating process

Last week, Allissa, Dad, and myself repainted the bathroom! It was a process.

First we had to take off the wallpaper. scrape and scrape and scrape!

After, we had to wash the walls, and tape everything

Then we put the coat of primer on, then the painting began!

And the final coat! Four coats, (including primar) got the job done!

Allissa and I had a really fun time decorating! We went for the salon theme! Here's some before and after pictures!!!

That was such a fun project!

Summer is when the girls go barefoot and their hearts are just as free as their toes.
