Words..
We are often tempted to consider ourselves better than those who are different from us. We tend to look down on people who have eyes, hair, lips, and skin not like our own. This attitude of superiority is racial prejudice. It stems from pride and lack of trust.
Pride tells us that the way we look is the only "right" way to look. Lacking trust in God, we feel threatened by those who are different from us. God's answer to such attitudes is found in John 3:16: "``For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. " To us God says if a man is a new creature in Christ, he is a brother to every other Christian. If a man has never trusted in Christ, his is a mission field--a lost soul to be won to the Lord. Let us never permit the sin of racial prejudice to blind us to our brothers and sisters in the Lord or to our duty to spread the Gospel to everyone.

Happy New year!
On New Years Eve mom, dad and I went downtown and ate at a restaurant. We were going to stay for fireworks so we killed some time while shopping, but once we got out of a store it was pooring rain! So we decided we weren't going to watch the fireworks. Once we got in the car and started driving, the fireworks started so we found a parking area (not really a garage because there weren't very many spots) with a roof so we parked there and stood under the roof and watched them blow up while keeping dry!
I really loved doing different settings and taking most of them "bokeh style"
This one probably turned out the best
